The Uptown Barber Bar is your one-stop-shop for the ultimate men’s grooming experience. Our goal is to provide our clients with hair, shaving and spa services that will exceed their expectations. We give more than great haircuts and shaves, we also give great advice on men’s style, trends, & grooming products.
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $950.00 per week
- Schedule: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift

Responsibilities:
- – Work with the team to provide an exceptional quality client experience each and every time
- – Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, fades, shampooing, blow-drying, and styling
- – Listen and communicate clearly with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction in the client consultation
- – Form bonds with loyal customers, remembering their hairstyle preferences as well as add notes into system
- – Identify any issues in the scalp and educate what retail product would be best to help the issue
- – Apply OSHA standards and State Board Regulations across all beauty stations and maintains of salon
- – Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
- – Operating the Point-of-Sale software system
- – Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere
Qualifications:
- – Current Florida Cosmetology license
- – Up-to-date with industry trends
- – Excellent communication skills
- – Physical stamina to stand for long hours
- – True team player with a growth mindset
- – Ability to work weekends preferred
- – Ability to commute/relocate to Saint Petersburg, FL
