“Uptown has been my go to barber shop for over a year now and I’m not going anywhere else anytime soon. If I could give it six stars I would!
The shop is visibly clean and inviting with high ceilings and modern decor. This is not some dark dingy corner barber shop!
Everyone at the shop is very friendly and helpful. You are greeted upon entry with an offer of water or a local craft beer while you wait for your appointment, which is a nice touch.
There is an online appointment system which makes it easy to schedule an appointment. This system was recently updated and is even better than it used to be. You’ll get confirmation as well as a reminder text for your upcoming appointment, which is helpful with my busy work schedule.
All of the services are reasonably priced, and they have a great selection of high quality hair and beard products as well. They even recently added some spa services (waxing, massages, etc) that I have yet to try, but look forward to checking out when I have the time. Basically the place just keeps getting better.
P.S. I also take my 5 yr old son here for his cuts. Each station has a TV that helps entertain him while he gets his trim. The experience for him was so much better than his previous haircuts that he no longer has any anxiety about them and is actually excited to come with me to get a haircut now.”
